The Fixing Point team has worked closely with specialist external envelope sub-contractor Keyclad to deliver the fixings for the £28m Derby Arena Velodrome in Pride Park.

It was one of the first Olympics legacy projects to get underway following London 2012, and is now hailed as one of the few multisport velodromes in the country. Facilities include a 250m indoor cycling track, a 12-court sports hall, gym, and a 5,000-seat arena.

A complex project, this involved Fixing Point advising on   fastener solutions for particularly technical applications. The company also arranged for pull-out tests to be done on-site to detect any possible weaknesses.
